lyrics

A bright cold day in spring: the clocks strike thirteen. The speakers outside of the Ministry bleat to the sheep: “Another swift victory”. The globe is a theatre and the proletariat its sole attendee. They are paying politicians to preach about peace, We hold the strings to these political figurines. Media machine holds the plug, if we could simply just turn it off. As fear becomes commodity circulating wildly. There is no escape from our informational economy. Content is produced to keep people content. The people’s thirst for truth will always be slaked with lies.
And we know that the truth, will always be denied. Thats exactly why we must unite. So long as we never realize where true strength resides. Bound in our shackles we struggle for eternity, we’re all destined for a lifetime of misery. Political babble, our tower of nonsense, endless wars and division. We wear the mask, we strut the stage, no where to hide no one can escape! We create wars, we falsify reports, we divorce truth from reality, we diminish all of humanity, making it feral, keeping it caged. No one will ever know. No one will ever know. No one will ever know (the truth). No one will ever know (our story). Our secret remains: when the masses unite, questions raised, When hope strikes like flint, truth will guide the proletariat. No one will ever know the truth. No one will ever know our story. No one will ever know (the truth). No one will ever know (our story). When hope strikes like flint to rock, sparking revolutionary talk, when people refuse to kneel, keeping their banners raised, when the will to change bursts into revolutionary flame, Proles will take king with pawn and finally call checkmate. A bright cold day in spring: the clocks strike thirteen. The speakers outside of the Ministry bleat to the sheep: “Another swift victory”. The globe is a theatre and the proletariat its sole attendee. They are paying politicians to preach about peace.
