Lyrics Written by Trevor Roberts Wake up you’re falling Into a memory Wake up you’re falling Wake up you’re falling deep into a memory I’ve seen the end, the end of days. And what I saw was the world set ablaze Humanity engulfed in atomic flame It’s up to us to change our fate Wake up you’re falling deep into a memory hole Where we’re going nobody can ever know. We’re burning the path behind us go and tell the other proles Get on your feet stand strong and take back control

Lyrics written by Jackie Marugg & Trevor Roberts These truths are self-evident they’ve been written in blood since the birth of our nation. The worth of our country doesn’t mean much if our brothers are mired in the mud. So I’ll raise an army of sons and we’ll plan our next attack. We will storm the enemy gates in hopes that we may bring the truth back. A righteous band boldly led will bring divine wrath on the wicked of the land. These truths are self-evident they’ve been written in blood since the birth of our nation. The worth of our country doesn’t mean much if our brothers are mired in the mud. So I’ll raise an army of sons and we’ll plan our next attack. We will storm the enemy gates in hopes that we may bring the truth back. This is the first step, the first step of the quake. Shaking down the fabric of oppression leaving chains broken in our wake. & if I fail to set you free let me hang by the neck of the tallest tree. May the heavens be hung in scarlet.

Lyrics written by: Jackie Marugg, & Trevor Roberts Hearing dire warnings of a new and fearsome beast An unknown endless conqueror arriving in the east Escaping west of ground instead no fodder for the horses Children fleeing slaughter at the mercy of their forces Some are bought & cheated some are beaten & destroyed By the merciless invaders that have sailed across the void Liars using weapons driving people from their houses & tear them from their loved ones & their children & their spouses The crack of the rifle the snap of an arrow, engulfing the nation, a mass emigration An empire built on lies & the backs of the conquered A king without a crown, a people lacking conscious All of this will end in thunder The crack of the rifle the snap of an arrow, engulfing the nation, a mass emigration The coughing & wheezing & swelling of throats A blanket of sickness moves in with a quickness & covers the land like a cloak An empire built on lies, a king without a crown The spirit calls, from the land they’re always watching Voice of the soul, on the place we all are standing The earth is weeping, its people sent asunder & in the end all of this will end in thunder Sequestered, relocated, driven from ancestral land Sequestered, relocated, driven from ancestral land The ones who claim to save us, blood dripping from their hands An empire built on lies & the backs of the conquered A king without a crown, a people lacking conscious All of this will end in thunder

lyrics written by Jackie Marugg, Trevor Roberts & Ruben Cota I’ve seen your tracks in the snowbank and I know you’ve been here. Yet suddenly I fear that when the snow melts all these feelings that I felt will soon be gone too, then what will I do? I’ve seen your tracks in the snowbank and I know that you’re gone. Yet still I go on. I keep my eyes fixed on the ground you’ve trotted. Gone but not forgotten, gone but not forgotten. My heart strings are tied to the ceiling fan, pulling me tighter and higher. I don’t know the reason I tied them there, kicked them so close to the fire. I look in the embers and then I remember the ground you’ve trotted. Gone but not forgotten. I never truly knew you, until you were gone and now, I know your heart, I’ll find a way to carry on. I wear your echo wrapped around my neck. I’ll keep searching the snowbanks until I find your final steps. I can’t wait to see you again, under the blackened star. I still can see your face wrapped in those you left behind like a beautiful chemical trapped inside their spine and when the bones crack your memory comes back, just like an artifact trapped somewhere in time. This is a moment of clarity, the world falling all around me. Our lives exist within static contingencies. This is the story of death & tragedy. I still can see your face wrapped in those you left behind like a beautiful chemical trapped inside their spine and when the bones crack your memory comes back, just like an artifact trapped somewhere in time. I can’t wait to see you again underneath the blackened stars, walking along the shore healing all of my festering scars. I see you standing there, and I say hello, wrapped in the loving arms of the King in yellow. I hear your voice on the warm spring wind & I hear your song on the mist of the dawn. Green grass has grown on the ground you’ve trotted. Gone but not forgotten. Gone but not forgotten.

ESOTERIC 06:17
Lyrics Written by Trevor Roberts This is what humanity has come to. The world is dying by our own hands. It's up to us to put an end to it. It's time to rise up. These are the forces that drive our world today: money, power, greed, status. All of our lives are hanging in the balance. Corruption is our destruction. Hate, violence, war, malice. Contrived by minds sociopathic and callous. The lives of the many, are held in the hands of the few. With a clear intention to destroy the proletariat. We're all trapped in a rat race that keeps turning round and round. It's time to seize the means or be wiped out. To be wiped out is the direction we're all heading in. the total collapse of the entire ecosystem. This isn't a metaphor; this is real life. If you want a future, then you better be prepared to fight. We can't continue to destroy the place from which we came. If we ignore the warning signs, we'll all be washed in the acid rain. They don't care if the world burns, they don't care if we die. They don't wanna hear solutions, not if they're the ones to pay the price. Where's your god now? The lives of the many, are held in the hands of the few. With a clear intention to destroy the proletariat. We're all trapped in a rat race that keeps turning round and round. It's time to seize the means or be wiped out. To be wiped out is the direction we're all heading in. the total collapse of the entire ecosystem. This isn't a metaphor; this is real life. If you want a future, then you better be prepared to fight. We can't continue to destroy the place from which we came. If we ignore the warning signs, we'll all be washed in the acid rain. An infection is spreading in every one of us, this infection is deadly, I’ll tell ya what it does. An obsession with consumption is its primary function. like a virus always spreading, always killing what it touches. Stand up and fight for what you believe in unless we change the course we are lost. Stand up and fight for what you believe in unless we change the course we are lost. Stand up and fight for what you believe in unless we change the course we are lost. Stand up and fight for what you believe in unless we change the course we are lost. Stand up and fight for what you believe in unless we change the course we are lost.

Lyrics Written by Jackie Marugg, Trevor Roberts Slow steady & quickening heartbeat numbness of chemical drink lost in the bloodlust swept away by groupthink (swept away by group think) You haven’t seen hell, you haven’t seen hate, you have become the prey you have become the bait. The state has taken me & wrapped me in its womb. This cell of contemplation has now become my tomb. So many lost ghosts wandering this monument of stone & steel. So many blackened bodies crushed beneath the systems wheel. So many lost ghosts, so many blackened bodies. & When the lights go out, so does our trust. You can feel the bloodlust consuming everyone, & when you hear the screams that’s when you know. That’s when you know that we’re all fucked. & When the lights go out you can feel the bloodlust (& when you hear the screams that’s when you know) that’s when you know. Within these walls, none of us are safe. No one can save you hell has become our fate. Within these walls we are all to blame. No one will save us; death is our only escape. Fire up the torches melt off their faces. You haven’t seen hell, you haven’t seen hate, you have become the prey you have become the bait. The state has taken me & wrapped me in its womb. This cell of contemplation has now become my tomb. Slow steady & quickening heartbeat numbness of chemical drink lost in the bloodlust swept away with groupthink (swept away by group think) Shivering in the heat of the sun mind set on the edge of the brink dying in the halls of the southwest prison swept away by groupthink. You haven’t seen hell, you haven’t seen hate, you have become the prey you have become the bait. The state has taken me & wrapped me in its womb. This cell of contemplation has now become my tomb. Shivering in the heat of the sun mind set on the edge of the brink dying in the halls of the southwest prison swept away by groupthink.

RECLAIMERS 06:31
Lyrics Written by Jackie Marugg & Ruben Cota We the reclaimers the broken & nameless, brotherhood binds us & anger provides the engine for change & the fuel for our future. Reclaim our dignity, reclaim our lives. Nothing less than our backs breaking underneath the hammer & sword. Nothing less than greedy hands, hands that show no remorse. No remorse for the struggle. No remorse for those in need. No remorse for the working class on which they feed. A broiling toil, embroiling oil were born we work we die & get tilled into the soil. Nothing separates a slave from slave. Neither class nor creed can unbind the chains. Nothing separates a slave from slave. Neither class nor creed can unbind the chains. Unbind the chains. Come now my brothers & gather round close to me. Money buys power but can’t buy our dignity. Pull out the cross ties and shatter our hammers to dust. Stand your ground brothers we must make them see that their world is ending. They’re nothing without us. Right now, as we speak you can hear the enforcers gathering around us in the shadows, waiting to burn down everything we’ve built. But the jokes on them because before they can get here, we’re going to burn it all down ourselves. They’re nothing without us. We the reclaimers the broken and nameless, brotherhood binds us, the rising of tides against the proclaimers of false proclamations, the ones who enslaved us will pay with their lives. Your dreams can escape the chains wrapped around us all. Your mind cannot be bought or sold. Your life’s more precious than gold. Your dreams can break these chains wrapped around us all. Your mind cannot be bought or sold. Your life’s more precious than gold

Lyrics Written by Jackie Marugg & Trevor Roberts So it begins, this is the end. The death rattle of the world that you know. So it begins, here we go again. A heated ocean rising up from down below. Now the time has come to face the harsh reality. Gaze into the eyes of our own mortality. Now the time has come, reject the false duality. Embrace your fellow man & find a commonality. Don’t be fooled by deceptive demagogues Always selling people giant fucking cons. Don’t you know they’ve been lying all along? To them it’s just a game and they play you like a pawn. The champion of the corporatocracy (corporatocracy) Overthrew the people’s democracy & Ushered in a new era of depravity A fascist oligarchy Don’t be fooled by deceptive demagogues Always selling people giant fucking cons. Don’t you know they’ve been lying all along? To them it’s just a game and they play you like a pawn. Don’t be fooled by deceptive demagogues Always selling people giant fucking cons. Don’t you know they’ve been lying all along? To them it’s just a game and they play you like a pawn. They use fear to segregate you They use race to alienate you They use fear to segregate you They use race to alienate you You so called patriots are so blind to let the demagogue poison your mind. How many times must this lesson be learned? While you play war our democracy burns. Who are the masters, who are the dogs choking on the end of the leash? Who is the mechanism, who is the cog? When will this cycle cease. Misdirected your hate towards the powerless Took advantage & exploited your ignorance Your fear your pride your prejudice They manifest & redirect it. Tear them from their ivory tower & leave them bleeding in the streets. Ignorance & xenophobia create an atmosphere of violence and a populace sedate. A revolution of intolerance and hate, we must stand together and refuse to participate They control our minds by controlling what we see, They control it all through the elite oligarchy. While we waste our lives chasing foolish fantasies, the greatest one of all is the American dream. Through manipulation of the public education, They’ve turned our school systems into state indoctrination. They sell us only lies & cheap entertainment, While we wage war & conquer other nations. We’re all slaves to a system of oppression, Caught in the rat race of capitalism.

about

After 2 long years The Anima Effect is finally back with their 3rd full length album. Thanks to producer & collaborator Evannier this time around the group has an entirely new sound!

This new album is also another concept album that takes place in the same world as Manifesto, but this time every song tells its own self contained short story rather than all of them contributing to an over arching narrative.

The album features 11 brand new ripping tracks of front to back chaos that mark a new chapter for the band as they continue to evolve their sound and push boundaries for the genre.
