lyrics

The tv screens tell convenient lies tailored to suit the needs of our minds. Who do we hate, who do we hate, who do we hate today? We watch as they conceal the truth, we're all complicit as they exploit our youth, weaponized ignorance is used against us. Who do we blame today? Give us an enemy. Who do we blame today? Give us an enemy. Feast your eyes on the telescreen, don't deny the lie before you, you'll provoke the thought police. A sovereign mind will bury you. Logic is lobotomized as our thoughts become automatized. Big brothers vision is coming to fruition. How much are you willing to pay for your life? In this world the truth comes with a fucking price. How much are you willing to pay for your life? One day we will all pay for our lies. Media sensation creates a system of manipulation forming blind devotion to false ideals. Through misguided views we are lead to choose the party over ourselves. Mindless entertainment to distract and misdirect the truth. We never question the structure of power, we're content with pointing the finger. We blame our comrades, making everyone our enemy. There's nothing left of our humanity. We hide our fears as we wear our hate on display. Leaving only ourselves left to betray. No need for friends when we have big brother. We turn our backs on one another. No need for friends when we have big brother. We simply look away and blame the other. We simply look away, we turn our backs on one another, making everyone our enemy. No need for friends when we have big brother. We simply look away and blame the other. Another day in the life of the Proles, leaving the truth of our story untold.
